I know voting does not go to the root of fixing the problems we face and in the grand picture of the travesties we face voting has done nearly nothing. Not voting, alone, has done exactly nothing and voting does not stop you from doing outside activism and resistance.

Voting validates the process.  It validates the selection of whoever wins.  It validates the idea that there can even be such thing as a “president.”  It validates hierarchy.
